Vehicle Engulfed in Flames near Bike Trail

Hamilton Police have released images of a suspect involved in a vehicle fire and are seeking the public’s help to identify the individual.

On Sunday, May 19, 2024, shortly after 6:00 p.m., the owner of a Ford F150 parked his vehicle in a trail parking lot in the area of Highway 52 and Powerline Road in Ancaster, before going on a bike ride. The owner then returned to his vehicle shortly after 7:00p.m., to his vehicle fully engulfed in flames.

The investigation has been deemed suspicious and investigation remains ongoing.

The suspect is described as;

  • Medium build
  • Wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt
  • Green face mask
  • Grey shorts
  • Black shoes with white soles
