Update On Lincoln Alexander Parkway Collision

Male Driver Suffers Medical Emergency

On Tuesday May 14, 2024, at 4:25pm a 66-year-old Hamilton man was eastbound on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway near Garth St when the 2018 Freightliner transport truck he was driving crossed the center median, collided with a black 2020 Infiniti QX60 that was westbound, then came to a stop in the westbound lanes against the sound barrier.

EMS and Fire personnel attended the scene and transported the male of the transport truck to the hospital.  

It was determined the male suffered a medical event and is in serious condition at this time. Speed and/or alcohol were not factors in this collision.

At this time, the police are actively seeking any potential witnesses to this incident and urge anyone with information to come forward.  Investigators are also requesting any motorists in the area at the time of the collision to check their dash cameras and any residences or businesses in the area with surveillance cameras to review their camera footage.  All lanes on the Parkway were reopened at 10:30pm.
