Stabbing in Gage Park

Hamilton Police investigate a stabbing at Gage Park that sent one individual to hospital.

On Monday, June 17, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m., a 48-year-old man saw two individuals harassing an unidentified male. When he tried to intervene, the suspects turned their focus on him, resulting in him being stabbed.

The suspect descriptions are:

Suspect #1 – Male/white, approximately 18 years old, brown, shaggy hair wearing dark clothing with a long-sleeved shirt.

Suspect #2 – Male/brown skin, approximately 18 years old with freckles on his face.

Both suspects possessed knives during the incident. The suspects then escaped on bicycles, taking some of the victim’s belongings with them.

The 48-year-old male was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
