Hamilton Police Shooting Response Team (SRT) continues to investigate the shooting that occurred on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at 2 Oriole Crescent. At this time, investigators are appealing for the public’s assistance and are releasing two video clips, which show the shooting.
On Sunday, May 26, 2024, shortly after 10:00 p.m., a vehicle arrived at 2 Oriole Crescent. An individual was observed standing out of the sunroof of the vehicle and fired multiple rounds at nearby vehicles and residences. No physical injuries have been reported to police.
The vehicle used in this shooting has been identified and recovered by investigators. Police are seeking the suspects involved in this shooting. One suspect can be observed standing out of the sunroof of the vehicle shown in the video clips. The suspect was observed to be wearing a black or dark-coloured hoodie and a blue medical mask.
Hamilton Police are asking residents in the area to review their security surveillance between the hours of 9:50 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2024, for any suspicious activity. Furthermore, if you were driving in the area and have dashcam footage that you feel would be suitable for review, please contact investigators.
