Pedestrian Suffers Fatal Injury involving Motorcycle

On Sunday Aug 4, 2024, at approximately 2:42pm, EMS and Police were called to a collision involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian on Mountain Brow Blvd. approximately two hundred meters east of Limeridge Rd.

A 67 year old male pedestrian was crossing Mountain Brow Blvd when he was struck by the Harley Davidson motorcycle.

According to witnesses the motorcyclist was driving eastbound around the bend from Limeridge Rd. behind another motor vehicle. As the motorcycle came out of the curve the pedestrian ran from the north shoulder to the south shoulder between the motor vehicle and in front of the motorcycle. Speed was not a factor.

The 67 year old male pedestrian was transported to hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
