Emergency crews extricated a man from a vehicle in Stoney Creek after a crash sent their car off the road and left them trapped in a ditch on South Service Road.
Officials say the man was transported to hospital in stable, non-life-threatening condition.
Crews were called out to the crash near Fifty Road around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Footage from the scene shows two cars: a white Honda with damage to its front end and another yellow vehicle, which cannot be identified, a few meters off the roadway in a ditch adjacent to the road.
Police say the cause of the crash remains under investigation and the roadway remains open.
