A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting that left a 22-year-old Hamilton man with life-altering injuries.
The shooting occurred in November of last year.
Police say they were called out to a parking lot on Queenston Road for a shooting at 9 p.m. on Nov. 10.
When authorities arrived at the scene, they located a 22-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.
At the time, witnesses told authorities that they saw a black four-door sedan fleeing the area moments prior. Police later found the described vehicle lit on fire in Hamilton’s north end.
Authorities called the attack “targeted” and put out a request to the public for more information.
On Friday, police announced that they had made an arrest in connection to this shooting.

“This investigation is ongoing with efforts to identify the other co-conspirators in this plot to commit murder,” police said.
Police remain mum on how the two incidents are linked, but did disclose Friday’s conspiracy charges against Dhaliwal while reviewing details from last year’s shooting.
“The number of co-conspirators and the nature of the evidence leading to this arrest will not be disclosed at this time as the investigation is ongoing.”
