Hamilton police are expected to provide an update Tuesday on their investigation into a house party shooting that left one person dead and two others injured over the weekend.
Officers say the shooting happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday at a short-term rental property located at 1046 Highway 6 North in Flamborough.
Investigators arrived to find a man with non-life-threatening injuries who said he had been shot at the party that roughly 60 people attended.

When police made their way to the property, they learned at least two other victims had fled the scene and one victim died from his gunshot injuries in a nearby car.
Detectives have yet to name the victim.
No suspects have been identified at this time.
Hamilton police’s homicide, canine, forensics and traffic units are involved in this investigation, as well as Halton police and Ontario Provincial Police.
