Hamilton police seek man wanted in sexual offence involving youth

Hamilton police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a sexual offence involving a youth Monday morning.

Officers say it happened around 8:30 a.m. when the youth was on their way to school in the area of Heather Road and Sunrise Drive, just east of the Red Hill Valley Parkway.

Investigators say an unknown man drove up to the youth and motioned for them to come over.

The man allegedly made a sexual invitation towards the youth, grabbed their hand and then licked it. The youth pulled away and fled the area.
