Hamilton police are searching for a man accused of speaking inappropriately to a youth in the city’s east end Monday afternoon.
Officers say it happened around 4:20 p.m. on Weir Street North between Roxborough and Britannia avenues.
Investigators say a man who was reportedly driving a gold or tan van or SUV approached a youth and “engaged in inappropriate conversation.”
Police describe the suspect as a brown man who is approximately 30 years old and has black hair.
Residents and drivers in the area at the time of the incident are asked to review their surveillance video between 4 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. for any suspicious activity.
