Hamilton police search for 2nd man wanted for manslaughter

Police are looking for a second person wanted after a shooting in downtown Hamilton last fall led to the death of a 36-year-old man.

Officers are seeking to locate and arrest Albert Hyseni, a 22-year-old man from the Hamilton area.

On October 3, 2023, emergency crews responded to reports of gunshots in the area of 111 Herkimer St. in Hamilton where they found Tito Kelly, a 36 year old man, dead.

Detectives say this was an isolated incident involving a drug transaction where both parties exchanged gunfire.

Earlier in July, police announced the arrest of Donte Smith in connection to the manslaughter and was held in custody after his bail was denied at a hearing on July 11.

Hyseni was injured during the shooting and was transported to hospital where he received treatment and was later released.

Police describe Hyseni as a five-foot-ten tall white man with an average build. They say he has brown eyes, dark brown and curly hair, and is known to wear a goatee and a beard.

Anyone who sees Hyseni should keep their distance and contact police immediately.
