Hamilton Police Probe Two-Vehicle Collision on Dundas Street East

Hamilton Police are currently investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred on Dundas Street East and Avonsyde Boulevard just after 11:00 p.m. last night.

On Tuesday, July 23, 2024, shortly after 11:00 p.m., Hamilton Police received 911 calls reporting a collision involving a black Dodge Ram and a white Toyota. The 42-year-old driver of the Dodge Ram was transported to the hospital, where they were pronounced deceased. Three individuals from the Toyota were also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

At this time, the Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate at the scene. Dundas Street East remains closed in both directions from Mallard Trail to Evans Road and is expected to reopen within the next 90 minutes.
