Hamilton Police are seeking the community’s assistance in gathering information related to a fatal motorcycle collision that occurred late last night.
On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, just after 11:00 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a car on Upper Paradise Road near Lunner Avenue.
The investigation has revealed that a 37-year-old male from Hamilton was operating a Honda motorcycle northbound on Upper Paradise Road when he attempted to pass another northbound vehicle driven by a 40-year-old female from Hamilton. The motorcyclist struck the vehicle and was thrown from his motorcycle. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) attended the scene to investigate. Upper Paradise Road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
Hamilton Police continue to investigate this collision and are asking any witnesses or individuals with dashcam or security camera footage from the area at the time of the collision to come forward.
