Hamilton Police are investigating two shootings in Hamilton, marking the 55th and 56th shootings of 2024.
On Thursday, October 24, while on an unrelated investigation, the Shooting Response Team found evidence of a firearm that had been discharged on the Bruce Trail in Dundas, near Old Guelph Rd. and Highway 6.
At approximately 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, Hamilton Police were called to 288 Grays Rd after a tenant found a bullet lodged in his window frame. The tenant also discovered his television was damaged by a bullet. The investigation led to a neighbour’s apartment. Luckily, the tenant was not home at the time the gun was discharged.
The Shooting Response Team is investigating both incidents.
