Hamilton Police Investigate Serious Ancaster Collision

A 36-year-old man has suffered serious injuries in an Ancaster collision yesterday, and Hamilton Police are seeking information from anyone who may have been witness.

On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, just before 4:45 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to the area of Trinity Road South and Butter Road West in the City of Hamilton after reports of a head-on collision.

A white Hyundai Elantra sedan and a grey GMC Yukon Suburban were involved in the collision. The Hyundai’s 36-year-old male driver from Caledonia was initially transported to the hospital in life-threatening condition but is now in serious but stable condition with injuries considered to be life-altering. The driver of the GMC, a 34-year-old male from Ohsweken, was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation, and detectives seek information from anyone who witnessed the incident or has details about the events leading to the collision.
