Hamilton Police Investigate Hate-Motivated Mischief

Hamilton Police are currently investigating a Hate Motivated Mischief that occurred in the East End of Hamilton. Residents and businesses in the area are encouraged to review any surveillance footage available to them.

On Friday, June 21, 2024, at approximately 2:00a.m., Hamilton Police responded to the area of King St E and Cochrane Rd in relation to a report of hate related graffiti on the side of a business.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30-40 years-of-age with brown hair and a thin build. He was wearing a black hat, black pants , black sweater with a white stripe on the shoulders and red and black shoes. 

Area residents are requested to check and review their security cameras for any suspicious activity involving a person similar to the provided description between 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m.
