Hamilton police investigate gun flashed on Stoney Creek Mountain

Hamilton police are investigating after a gun was flashed at a U Need Storage parking lot in Stoney Creek Mountain Tuesday night.

Officers responded to a “weapon in progress” call shortly after 9:30 p.m. in a parking lot at 54 Upper Centennial Parkway.

The caller told police the passenger of a black Toyota Sedan had approached him with a gun in their hand while he was in his car. The passenger allegedly flashed a gun before driving away.

The caller said he felt unsafe to leave his car and asked police to help him leave the parking lot.

Officers arrived and helped the caller leave the area safely after searching through the property for threats.

Detectives say no one was injured.
