Hamilton Police Investigate Armed Robbery the Mountain

Hamilton Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the area of Concession Street and East 36th Street.

On August 23, 2024, the victim was contacted through a popular dating app to arrange a meeting. Upon arrival, the victim was attacked by three suspects and held at gunpoint. The suspects stole the victim’s phone and used it to make a financial transaction. A second victim was also attacked by the same suspects earlier in the evening. The suspects randomly met the victim on the street and forced him at gunpoint to his apartment where they stole a gaming station.

The suspects are described as:

  • Brown curly hair
  • Gray shorts
  • White shoes
  • 5’8
  • Black jacket
  • Black pants
