A 23-year-old Hamilton man is facing numerous charges in connection with a shooting at an east end home last fall.
Hamilton police say they were called to the home in the area of Beach Boulevard and Wickham Avenue on Nov. 14, 2023 for reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police say they were able to confirm that a targeted shooting incident had occurred, although there were no injuries reported.

Through a continual investigation, police were able to make an arrest on Thursday.
Ahmed Issak-Hussan, 23, of Hamilton is charged with the following:
- Careless use of firearm
- Discharge firearm with intent
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
- Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm
- Possession contrary to order
- Prohibited firearm – loaded/unloaded
- Reckless /discharge of firearm – into or at a place
- Unauthorized possession of firearm
Police say the investigation remains active as they seek to identify any additional individuals involved.
