Hamilton mountain motorcycle crash kills 67-year-old pedestrian

A 67-year-old man died after being hit by a Harley Davidson motorcycle Sunday afternoon on Hamilton’s East Mountain.

Emergency crews responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian after around 2:30 p.m. on Mountain Brow Boulevard east of Limeridge Road.

Hamilton police learned the motorcyclist was driving eastbound from Limeridge Road behind another vehicle around the bend. Eyewitnesses told officers the pedestrian ran from the north shoulder to the south shoulder in front of the motorcycle and was then hit.

The man was sent to hospital but was later pronounced dead.

Anyone with information or video of the crash are asked to call police.
