Hamilton police have arrested a man from Hamilton Tuesday following a series of break-ins at homes in the city’s east end neighbourhoods.
Officers say they began an investigation into a series of residential break-ins between Oct. 11 to Oct. 20.
Investigators arrested 54-year-old Joseph Antony Allen in connection to those break-ins and have charged him with offences including four counts of breaking and entering, and one charge of possession of a prohibited weapon.
Police say Allen’s bail was opposed and he remains in custody at this time.
Anyone with information regarding the break-ins are asked to contact police.
