A 38-year-old Hamilton police officer is facing multiple charges in connection with an intimate partner violence incident.
Investigators say it happened on Saturday in Stoney Creek.
The seven-year member has been charged with assault with a weapon, robbery and mischief under $5,000.
Hamilton police say the officer has been suspended and is scheduled to appear in court on June 14.
