Hamilton Police continue to investigate a collision that tragically claimed the lives of two individuals earlier today.
On Friday, March 22, 2024, shortly before 10:45 a.m. Hamilton Police responded to a collision on Highway 52, south of Powerline Road. The collision involved two motor vehicles; a black Ford Focus and white Chevrolet Impala.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the collision are ongoing.
Both occupants of the white Chevrolet Impala, a male and female in their 80’s have been pronounced deceased.
The sole occupant of the black Ford Focus, a woman in her 50s, has been taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
Police will close a significant portion of Highway #52 near Powerline Road, during their investigation.
At this time, the police are actively seeking any potential witnesses to this incident and urge anyone with information to come forward. Investigators are also requesting any motorists in the area at the time of the collision to check their dash cameras and any residences or businesses in the area with surveillance cameras to review their camera footage.
