Hamilton Police are investigating a shooting incident in the area of James Street South. On Monday, January 6, 2024 shortly after 2:00 a.m. a male victim was located with gunshot wounds, the victim was transported to hospital and they continue to receive medical care for their injuries.
Investigators are appealing to the public for their assistance. We are also requesting anyone involved in this shooting come forward and speak to investigators.
