On Sunday February 23, 2025, at approximately 9:20 p.m., the Hamilton Police Service responded to 150 Sanford Avenue North in the City of Hamilton for a report of a shooting. At the time police attended, damage consistent with a shooting was found at a residence inside 150 Sanford Avenue North. Based on a review of the available evidence, investigators believe that the shooting occurred outside the residence. Numerous people were present in the home during the shooting, however there are no reported injuries.
