Hamilton Police continue to investigate the murder of Randy Peardon and announce the arrest of 23-year-old Alexander La from Hamilton, in connection with this homicide. La, who remains in custody on other charges, was charged today with second-degree murder. The cause of death has been confirmed as multiple gunshot wounds.
At approximately 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024, Hamilton Police were called to 100 Connaught Avenue for reports of a deceased male. The scene was secured, and the Homicide Unit commenced an investigation. An autopsy confirmed that Peardon’s death was a homicide. Peardon lived in the area but did not reside at the address where he was found.
