5 teenagers taken to hospital after early morning crash in Stoney Creek

Five teenagers were taken to hospital early Saturday morning following a single-vehicle crash in Stoney Creek.

Hamilton paramedics say first responders were called to the collision on Ridge Road near Seventh Road East.

The five teenagers are all believed to be between the ages of 14 and 15-years-old.

Officials say two were taken to hospital in serious condition and three in stable condition.

Ridge Road remains closed in both directions as a utility pole in the area is repaired due to damages from the crash.

In Ontario, residents must be at least 16-years-of-age to legally drive.

At this time, police have not commented on any charges related to what they describe as a “personal injury” incident.
