A fourth person has been arrested in connection to a break-in that occurred at a car wash in Stoney Creek last year that left a man with serious injuries.
Police say they arrested 49-year-old Daniel Watters last Thursday as “the fourth and final party to this offence.”
He’s facing multiple charges, including two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and break and enter over $5000.

In February of 2023, a utility truck was stolen and driven into a car wash in the city’s east end.
Following the initial crash, a witness outside the Ezee Clean car wash at Highway 8 and Green Road was run by a pickup truck being driven by one of the suspects, leaving the witness with serious injuries.
Reports at the time said the suspects hit the man with the vehicle more than once.
Initially, two men were arrested in connection to the incident.
28-year-old Maxwell Swiston, of Hamilton, was taken in and charged with attempted murder and arson, among other offences.
Police then arrested and charged 45-year-old Jason Ward, of Hamilton, with break-and-enter-related offences.
A month later, a third man was arrested. 55-year-old Louis Lavont Alexander, of Hamilton, was charged with three counts of break and enter, two counts of possessing property obtained by crime over $5000, and arson.
Tuesday’s arrest of Watters marks the fourth arrest in connection to this case and comes over a year after Alexander’s.
The current condition of the victim from this tragic incident remains unknown. CHCH News has reached out for more information.
