2nd man charged with murder conspiracy as Hamilton police probe November shooting

A second person has been charged in connection with a targeted shooting that left a 22-year-old Hamilton man with life-altering injuries last year.

It happened in a parking lot located at 640 Queenston Rd. shortly before 9 p.m. on Nov. 10, 2023.

Police arrived to find the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital in serious condition and now has life-altering injuries.

At the time, witnesses told detectives that they saw a black four-door sedan fleeing the area moments prior.

Officers later found the vehicle lit on fire in Hamilton’s north end.

Further investigation led police to evidence of a conspiracy to murder a person unrelated to the shooting in November.
