HAMILTON, ON – In welcoming the 2024 RBC Canadian Open to the Hamilton Golf and Country Club in Ancaster, Halson Street from Wilson Street East to Golf Links Road and Golf Links Road from Halson Street to McNiven Road/Southcote Road will be closed.
To ensure the safety and security of those participating and attending this marquee event, along with those in the surrounding community, the road closures will be in effect for these dates and times:
- May 27 to May 30: 7 am to 7 pm (daily)
- May 31 to June 1: 7 am to 11:59 pm (daily)
- June 2: 7 am to 7 pm
Motorists should take an alternate route to avoid the closures.
Please note that official public parking for the event is located at the Ancaster Fairgrounds, with complimentary shuttles to the Hamilton Golf and Country Club.
Road closures will not impact Emergency Services and their accessibility to residents.
Residents who reside on the impacted streets are asked to place their waste at the curb in front of their property before 7 am on regularly scheduled days.
