HAMILTON, ON – Beginning today, May 6, 2024, eastbound road access on Garner Road between Kitty Murray Lane and Raymond Road will be closed. The work, which includes trunk sanitary sewer installation and associated works, is expected to be completed in November 2024, weather permitting.
Motorists travelling eastbound will be detoured onto Southcote Road, then onto Book Road East, and connecting to Glancaster Road.
Motorists should take an alternate route to avoid the closure. Please note, an HSR detour has been established.
HSR detour: From Garner Road and Fiddlers Green Road, right on Fiddlers Green Road, left on Book Road, left on Glancaster Road, right on Garner Road and resume regular eastbound routing.
This construction work will not impact Emergency Services and their accessibility to residents.
