A 60-year-old woman has died after she was ejected from her motorcycle during a two-vehicle collision in St. Catharines, police say.
On Thursday emergency services were called out to the crash near St Paul Street West and Third Street Louth around 2:40 p.m.
Authorities say the crash occurred when both vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection.
A 60-year-old man was driving a Toyota Tundra south on Third Street, while the motorcyclist was heading east on St Paul Street.
The woman was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
An investigation into the matter remains ongoing. Police are seeking witnesses.
