There will be temporary Welland Canal bridge closures to vehicle and pedestrian traffic this week due to ongoing maintenance.
The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation is advising there will be morning and afternoon closures in Port Colborne on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
Bridge 19A, Mellanby Ave. will temporarily close from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for bridge and road maintenance.
Bridge 19, Main St. will temporarily close from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for bridge and road maintenance.
The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation says it “will do everything possible to minimize any inconvenience to the public while we perform preventative maintenance on these bridges.”
