An early morning collision along Highway 403 near Woodstock has resulted in the closure of an eastbound lane near Middletown Line.
Provincial police say they received a call about a vehicle collision on the eastbound lanes of the 403, around 7:13 a.m. Wednesday.
Their investigation determined that a vehicle coming from the opposite direction crossed the median and collided with a truck transporting a load of rebar.
One person was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
“If you’re in the area, expect delays. We’re located just east of Middletown Line, in the eastbound lanes,” police said in a social media update.
Authorities expect it will take several hours to remove the two vehicles involved in the crash and clean up any debris.
