Niagara police have arrested a Port Colborne man in what they believe to be a targeted shooting Sunday evening in Welland.
Officers arrived at 7:30 p.m. to a home in the area around McAlpine Avenue and Lincoln Street for reports of a shooting.
Investigation confirmed that a man had fired multiple gunshots at the residence.
Police say there were no injuries.
Jacob O’Neal, 36, was arrested and charged with eight offences, including unauthorized possession of a firearm, discharging a firearm at a place in a reckless manner and two counts of breach of probation.
O’Neal is being held in custody pending a bail hearing on Monday.
