Power restored for 2,000 Alectra customers in Hamilton’s west end

Power has been restored for the nearly 2,000 people who were without power in Hamilton’s west end.

Alectra Utilities said it was first notified of the disruption around 7 a.m. Tuesday.

The utility company estimated that around 1,794 people were without power in parts of the Westdale, Kirkendall and Strathcona neighbourhoods.

The outage was resolved shortly after 10 a.m.
