A teen has been charged with aggravated assault after stabbing a man in his fifties in Port Colborne.
The incident occurred at around 9:00 p.m. on Sept. 26 in the area of Borden Avenue and Elm Street.
A Niagara police investigation revealed two males were in a physical dispute at this location. The fight escalated and as a result one male suspect stabbed the other male.
The victim, a 56-year-old male, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Jack Bunston, 18, of Port Colborne was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing expected to take place Sept. 27 at the court house in St. Catharines.
