A Port Colborne man is facing several weapons-related charges.
Niagara police responded shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday to a gas station in the area of Niagara Street and Thorold Road in Welland for a weapons call.
Officers arrived to find a man in possession of a black BB gun, brass knuckles and a butterfly knife.
Coty Ducheno, 30, was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon, three counts of failing to comply with a release order, failing to comply with a probation order and two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon.
Ducheno was held in custody pending a video bail hearing that is expected to take place Wednesday at a courthouse in St. Catharines.
