Police in Peel, Halton ask for help locating vulnerable toddler

Peel police say a vulnerable child has been reported missing.

According to officials, 3-year-old Zaid was last seen Thursday evening around 6:20 p.m. in the area of Erindale Park in Mississauga.

Zaid is described as having a thin build, and police say he has a short and dark-coloured afro.

He was last seen wearing a yellow top with red writing, black pants, and was not wearing any shoes or socks.

Officials are also notifying the public that he is possibly non-verbal.

Police in Halton, one of Peel’s neighbouring regions, took to social media Friday morning to further spread details about the disappearance.

“If anyone has information, please contact our neighbours in Peel Region,” the post said.

Both Peel and Halton police are encouraging anyone with information relevant to this missing child to call 911.
