Oshawa man arrested in Niagara after nearly $90K of drugs seized

Almost $90,000 worth of drugs have been seized, and a 24-year-old Oshawa man has been arrested, following a drug trafficking investigation done by Niagara police.

Police announced Thursday they carried out a search at a residence in Niagara Falls in the area of Cropp Street and University Avenue.

At the residence, officers uncovered varying amounts of cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, and fentanyl, in addition to Canadian currency and a loaded handgun.

Subsequently, Lex Reece was arrested, and now faces a total of 10 charges relating to this case.

Reece was held in custody pending a bail hearing in St. Catharines.
