The OPP’s repeat offender parole enforcement squad is asking the public for help tracking down a violent criminal who frequents the Hamilton area.
On Friday, police issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Sean Robertson, 37, after he breached the conditions of his statutory release.
Robertson is serving a five-year sentence for:
- Armed Robbery (Knife)
- Robbery with Violence
- Robbery x2
- Possession of a Weapon
- Flight from Police
- Dangerous Operations of a vehicle x2
- Theft of a Motor Vehicle
- Theft Under $5000.00 x2
- Fail to Comply with a Court Order
By law, federal offenders are automatically released under strict supervision, otherwise known as a statutory release, when they serve two-thirds of their sentence.
Police say Robertson is known to frequent Hamilton, Brantford, Niagara Falls, London, Tillsonburg, Woodstock, Essex County and Simcoe.
He’s described as a white, 37-year-old man who stands at six feet. He has brown hair and blue eyes, tribal art tattoos on his left arm, and a clover inked on the right side of his neck.
Officials are circulating his photo in an effort to track him down.
