Scouts from more than 10 different Olympic sports will be looking for the next generation of Canadian athletes at Mohawk College this Sunday.
The free tryouts are part of the RBC Training Ground program and will take place in the David Braley Athletic and Recreation Centre.
The program is designed to find young athletes with Olympic potential and provide them with the resources they need to succeed in their sport.
It travels the country searching for athletes between the ages of 14 and 25 who are talented, qualified and have the will to compete.

It doesn’t matter what sport they play, as scouts will look for raw athleticism by gauging core speed, power, strength and endurance.
The program is now in its ninth year, and has funded 13 Olympians and seven medalists, many in sports they wouldn’t have considered.
