Niagara police are on the hunt for a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint in Thorold.
The department says the incident occurred at the 7-Eleven on Clairmont Street sometime Saturday.
According to a release from police, the man entered the store, grabbed several items, then brought them to the counter to pay before pulling out a handgun and demanding cash from the clerk.
“The suspect left without an undisclosed amount of money and the items he had taken,” police say.
No one was hurt, however, the man remains at large.
He’s described as a white male who stands at 5’11” with a thin build and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black hoodie over his head, black pants, and a red and black mask covering his face.
