Niagara police raid nabs man with multiple guns, 3D printer and cocaine

A man is facing multiple firearm-related charges after a police raid uncovered multiple guns, drugs and ammunition inside a home in St. Catharines.

Police say 42-year-old Dalshan M. Baines was arrested on June 12 after a search warrant was executed at a home near Wallace Street and Powerview Avenue.

During the bust, officers say they located a loaded Mossberg shotgun, a modified Glock handgun, a single-shot gun disguised as a pen as well as nine ounces of cocaine.

In addition to the guns and drugs, the department also seized a 3D printer.

Baines is facing a number of charges, including:

  • Careless Storage of Firearm (2 Counts)
  • Possess Forearm without Holding a Licence (2 Counts)
  • Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
  • Possess Firearm other then Restricted or Prohibited
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
  • Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm knowingly not Holding a Firearm
