A collision between two motorcycles in Port Colborne early Friday morning sent both riders to hospital with serious injuries.
According to CCTV video from a home nearby, just before 1:30 a.m. two motorcycles crashed on Empire Road, south of Beach Road.
The video shows that both motorcycles were traveling southbound on Empire road when one bike stopped to make a U-turn before being struck by the bike behind it.
Niagara regional police closed Empire Road during their investigation of the crash.
The province’s police watchdog arrived at the crash later in the morning to also investigate the crash.
The Special Investigations Unit told CHCH News that two men were taken to hospital as a result of the collision.
