Police are investigating after a man’s body was found in a grassy area off the roadway Saturday afternoon in the city of Port Colborne.
Emergency crews responded to a call to the area of Forks Road and Highway 140 just after 3:30 p.m. where someone found a dead body.
Detectives say the investigation is in its preliminary stages and are working with homicide and forensic services units.
Officers say they do not believe there is an on-going threat to the community.
