Hamilton Health Sciences says the MRI machine has a powerful magnet with improved speed and imaging quality to better help doctors diagnose and treat patients.
Over thirty thousand MRI scans each year take place under the umbrella of Hamilton Health Sciences.
This is the fifth MRI machine under the operation of the hospital network.
Hamilton Health Sciences has over 15,000 staff, physicians, researchers and volunteers.
