Burlington Model Railway Club members opened their doors to the public Saturday afternoon to show off their skills.
“This is a very interesting hobby and we love to would be able to show up. Having an event like this where we can show the club to the public and show what we do is the best part,” said President Martin Keena.
Kids of the community were impressed by what they saw at the event.
“This is awesome. Made me think about what I could do if I worked on something for a long time.”
“What I like about the miniature like this is all the little people on the details they have.”
Over the past decade models of railroading have evolved drastically, becoming a more realistic and accurate representation of trains of course this is all due to technology.
If you missed it on Saturday, the next exhibit will be on Saturday, August 17th.
