Impaired Brampton driver crashes BMW into Hamilton fire truck

An impaired driver from Brampton drove their white BMW into the back of a Hamilton fire engine over the weekend.

Provincial police say the firetruck was parked near the eastbound lane of Highway 403 by Aberdeen Avenue early Saturday morning to protect the scene of an earlier collision.

At 12:26 a.m. the driver of a white BMW collided with the back of the fire engine.

No one was injured, and a 29-year-old from Brampton is facing charges.

The OPP’s highway safety division reminded motorists to “drive sober” the next day and shared the following photo from the scene.
