The Hamilton Food Truck Festival has based its 11th annual celebration this weekend for the first time at Gage Park in Hamilton.
Beginning on Friday, 30 food trucks set up shop at the park at Main and Gage Streets, next to the tropical greenhouse and Hamilton Children’s Museum.
The festival is serving up a variety of foods from across the country, including Latin American cuisine, jerk chicken, and poutine.
Residents can attend the festival for free and can enjoy live musical performances and daily food-eating challenges.
The Canadian Food Truck Festival raises money through donations to local medical charities, having collected more than $300,000 since 2013.
The festival grounds will be open during the following times:
- Friday July 12 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Saturday July 13 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Sunday July 14 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
